Our Story

ShutterSTATE came into existence in August 19, 2017 and since then conducted various Photography Workshops, Photo Travel, Photo Outings, Nature Camps & Awareness Campaigns etc. from time to time. It is the first and only Photography Institute in North East India as of now to offer Photography Course & Photography Certification under FIP Affiliation.

Our Mission.

The primary mission of ShutterSTATE is to provide Outstanding Photography Education to individuals who wants to explore the Artistic Aspects of Photography by means of Photography Courses, Photography Certification Program, Photography Workshops, Photo Outings etc. We also undertake Commercial Works and collaborate in different projects involving Photography & Cinematography.

Our Vission.

We strongly feel that Developing Artistic Mindset is more important for taking better photographs then holding sophisticated equipments in hand. Thus, we aim to reintroduce the partly lost art back to people. We are also rediscovering the beauty of Analogue Photography and aim to set up a Laboratory to process & develop all types of Films.

Photography Courses

ShutterSTATE has rolled out a Three Step Learning Program on Digital Photography and this Photography Course was granted Affiliation by Federation of Indian Photography (FIP), which is the Country Member of Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique (FIAP). This makes it the most valued Photography Course & Photography Certification you can undertake. Course content is structured and focused on developing an Artistic Vision of the participants towards Photography rather than mere Technical Understanding of Camera Mechanism.

Digital Photography Modules

This is the first module of the three step the Digital Photography Course, available is both Regular & Fast Track format. With the widest coverage of subject matter, this module deals with Photographic Composition, Light and the Light Capturing Device. Upon completion of this module everyone will be able to skilfully use DSLR, Mirrorless Camera or any other Digital Camera to capture impressive photographs.
This course deals with everything someone needs to know about how to process RAW files using verity of available software like Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Camera Raw, Canon DPP and Nikon Capture NX. The course also includes how to use Adobe Photoshop as a Photographer for Post Processing your photographs. This is the only course required to lean how to "Retouch" a digital photograph and bring life to photographs.
This is the final segment of the Digital Photography Course. This module deals with a huge number of topics like Advanced Lighting Techniques (both Indoor & Outdoor), Wildlife & Macro Photography, Long Exposure Photography, Night Photography, HDR & Panorama, Street Photography & Photojournalism and many more. This module is desinged to provide a professional level of understanding of Photography to individuals.

The artistic aspect of photography is universal and limitless. In order to master the art form, one might require specialized skill sets. Therefore we conduct photography and other related workshops on specialized subjects on various occasions. Such events are announced via our Facebook Page.

Photography is an important tool for conservation and awareness. We believe in conservation and we love this planet. We collaborate with various agencies to run conservation drives and raise awareness among people. We are thankful to everyone who has took part in our Events.
We undertake photography assignments like product photography, cinematography works etc. and deliver quality output. At our facility we have set up a fully featured Studio for indoor photography, which is used for both commercial and educational purpose.
